Can't wait to see series five.

All and all I must have watched the first four series around six times through from beginning to end.

    VERY thought provoking.
I have season 5, or the first half of it, its the best one thus far, they broke it into 2 parts like they did with The Walking Dead S2, it goes to ep8, so now we must wait for the rest, but the second part is gonna be hectic......
Homeland season 2, Boardwalk Empire, World without end and Big Bang Theory
Was just talking to somebody about how screwed the ending of the LOST series is...but don't wanna spoil it for the watchers...

I had to go to Wikipedia to try figure out what happened :-[ Still not sure if I understand it... What about the polar bear???

Suits is the series I'm enjoying most at the moment (actually its the best series for me since the early days of Lost and Prison Break)
Revenge is really good too, borderline soapie but good.

Justified is also good, and Continuum too
Walking dead season three would be my series of choice now. ?

Busy with season 2 - anything with zombies is the best series ever

Ditto .... I try not to, or rather don't have the time to watch too much TV, but the above one's are "must watch" for me! ?
I'm finding it weird that no one has mentioned my big favorites:

Twin Peaks (perhaps a bit too soapy, but still okay)
                    X-Files
Millenium (Not as good as X-Files, too much religion, but still has that feel of "weirdness" I liked in X-Files)
                    Lost (Just WOW! ???)
Flashforward (Why the hell was it cancelled??!?! >☹)

The above all have lots of mystery and drama, they have a very deep atmosphere that really comes through. To understand what I mean, check out the opening titles of Twin Peaks! You'll either feel it or won't.

I've been looking for other similar series, haven't found one yet. Fringe? The characters are trying to be funny all the time which ruins it for me...

Other series I checked but didn't like: Sons of Anarchy (breaking the law is *not* cool, not even if you're riding a chopper, and unlike in Twin Peaks, there's nothing that would counteract its soapiness IMO), Breaking Bad (found the young junky to be VERY annoying, does lots of stupid mistakes, and his style? "What the f*ck, maaan?!?" >☹), Alias (No comment, probably it was meant to be "easy fun", with girly fight scenes, uncomplicated plot with silly things that need to be stolen).

                    As for comedy:
                    Robot Chicken
                    Family Guy ?
                    The IT Crowd

I'm going to look into The Office next...
Ja, the PVR has been a lifechanger hey. ? Currently following That 70's Show, South Park, 3rd Rock From The Sun and Revenge. Psych and Monk was great too, as well as American Horror Story. But my favourite thus far this year was Sherlock Holmes - really hoping for a new series soon!
I googled The Walking Dead and it looks like something me and the missus will enjoy as well. Is it currently airing or are you guys watching it on DVD?

Don't get the whole zombie, would be much scarier if they could run...

I got the Twin Peaks series cause a friend told me about it, maybe it was better back in the day. I tried watching it, can't get passed the 3rd episode....... Episode 1 is just ppl crying..... if you fast forward through the episode, 80% of the time you will land on someone crying..... the score is VERY dramatic and it sort of bugged me a bit how it suddenly enters the scenes on full volume...... episode 2 was also very sad, i fell asleep during the third one when i think they introduce the trucker dude......

Its sort of like a thundercats thing, let it remain good in your memory, and dont spoil that memory by revisiting the series ?
                            Suits.

                            Got hold of series 1 & 2.
Watched about 3 episodes a day until we were finished.
                            FUN !!!
                            ?
House M. D. - they should have ended it a couple of series earlier, but mostly good.
Spartacus - not sure how well this will fare, unless the new guy improves.
Downton Abbey - perfect ensemble cast (Maggie Smith and Jim Carter make it though).
Absolute Power - Classic! Stephen Fry as an unscrupulous PR type
A Touch of Frost - my favourite TV detective.
Dexter - Also should have ended it by now - before it deteriorates.
Monroe - James Nesbitt as a neurosurgeon. Very sharp and witty.
Firefly - odd on the surface (cowboys/spacemen), but engaging)

                              Honourable mentions:
                              Game of Thrones
Battlestar Galactica and the spin off, Caprica (although that was busy disappearing up it's own butt by the time they cancelled it)
Flash Forward (although I don't think they could have sustained it longer anyway)

I love Sci-Fi, but very little of it is any good beyond the basic idea. Something the Brits tend to do better, but on a lower budget and they tend to miniseries rather than series.
I basically stopped watching TV after Seinfeld, seriously ? I've not heard of 90% of the stuff you guys are on about ???
                                  I don't even own a TV - just a big screen and a DVD player. ?

                                    Best sitcom of all time.

I regularly watch the old episodes, the characters are fantastic.
                                      For me....

First two series of Sherlock (BBC version) has been brilliant. Can't wait for the third series early next year!!

Then for the best part the missus and I watch NCIS (Seasons 4 to 8) over and over, interspersed with Michael McIntyre to keep us sane!

                                      Other series we've recently enjoyed.....

Hustle (series 1-4 so far) - a kind of BBC version of the oceans trilogy
House (getting a bit too annoying now)
                                      Futurama (brilliant)
Scrubs (suprised no ones mentioned this one so far!?)

I'd also quite like to try Chuck soon, but I like to see things from the start, and our local DVD shop doesn't have it!

I had also gotten a little addicted to the first three series of 24 before I moved out here, but never took that any further.

                                      Cheers
                                      G!
