Hi all, please give your opinions on the best sounding " leslie " pedal you,ve heard, just checking whats going on in the pedal market currently,thanks..
I've looked into this at great depth (before deciding to "make do" with the one in my G-Sys). The Neo Ventilator or the Strymon Lex are the best for authentic Leslie sounds. Lex is nice and compact for a guitar pedalboard, but the Ventilator is a touch more realistic to my ear. Both are best used stereo, but still work well in mono.

I owned a Lex, and SOLD IT (shock, horror >☹ ) I sold it because, in my VERY humble opinion, the sound on my Digitech EX-7 was better. More, woody

IMO the univibe (or one of the good clones, such as the dejavibe) is a great effect but not quite Leslie somehow.

It depends on what you want. Do you want a Leslie as in "sounds exactly like a Leslie". I used to think I wanted that, but eventually I found that a tremolo gave me what I really wanted. But then I stopped using effects full stop.

Richard Thompson, a long time univibe user, has ditched the vibe (or any clone) from his electric guitar rig and now has a TC Shaker vibrato instead. Sounds pretty sweet too.
