Ok so, I'm getting that mains hum coming from my "speaker" (Ibanez 65watt Sound Wave Bass amp)

The setup is

PC -> Saffire 6 USB audio Interface -> RCA outputs into the "CD Input" on the amp (also RCA)

They're powered off the same multiplug (the PC and the amp) and it's 3 prong plugs for all.
I RCA cable is for a DVD player, so the yellow jack is there too, but it's obviously not connected to anything.

Is there anyway to get rid of the hum?

Yes, I know it's not an ideal setup, but it'll take awhile to save for studio monitors ?

PS
Sorry if this is the wrong section, not really sure where it should go

The cd-in RCA inputs of your amp are most likely calibrated to the -10dBm standard and the RCA outputs of your interface are most likely set to the +4dBu standard. Try switching the outputs to -10dBm and see if the hum goes away.

    Cheers ?
Likely to be the earth pin on your mains cable to the PC. Is it a laptop or Desktop?

Solution is usually to ground isolate the ling between the PC and the amp with a set of isolation transformers.

Not advisable to remove the earth from the PC power......could be dangerous if something goes wrong.....
