I'm kind of gravitating towards this as my 'go-to' guitar (with the exception of one other which forum rules dictate I cannot share). Its been a beaut since the day that I got it, and after a little tweak and a new set of Rotosound Nexus strings, and its really sounding and feeling great!
It would be interesting to return to this thread in a years time to see if its still the favourite, or not?
Anyways, here's my Carparelli 'Slimm'.....
Some of the things I love about this guitar include the arched top, which makes it very comfortable to play, as it kind of disappears into your body. I'm also loving the tones out of the custom wound carparelli pickups. I know they are Alnico pups, but no idea which type? All I know is they sound fantastic! Its also a fair bit lighter than a real Les Paul, which works for me with my bad back. It also has a rather snazzy hardcase too, which all adds to the plus side. ?
