Dayymmmnn but UVs are beautiful. ? You could say "agh too blingy"...until you've seen one IRL.
"Sculpt tone" hehe. Yeah I guess UVs are pretty versatile, with the single coil available and all. For sure not one-trick pony metal monsters (not that I'd know haha).
You should know. ?
Just tried to be a little more fancy sounding, you know, ek se? ? (Obviously quite a bit more to it than simply turning the knobs on the axe and tah dah! :-[ ) I think it has a lot to do with the Dimarzio Blaze pups and inherent resonance the beefier neck offers over a 6 string. On the other RG-types I have experience with, I've always felt that the tone simply gets 'thinner' when the volume is dialled back. Even my Jem. In case of the UV I find that different settings seem to 'colour' the tone differently but all are very usable. I also like the fact that the single coil is very well matched to the humbuckers imho... With other RG's I often felt that the single coils where more of an afterthought than anything else... Just my perception.
P.S. Coming from a floral Jem and purple J-Customs, the UV seems rather subdued to my eyes. ?
