So I've been pretty interested in the various Joyo pedal clones that are out there, and I've seen some great reviews. Unfortunately my PE salary, and new house (with tons of maintenance work) don't really afford me the luxury of buying boutique pedals or anything close really, which is why these clones have really grabbed my attention. I'm probably going to be getting a few soon and look forward to trying them out.

But I diverge from the main reason for posting. Whilst doing some research on these Joyo pedals I stumbled across these Joyo cloned amps.

If they are anything like the reviews Ive read regarding the pedals, these could be quite interesting!
    are there Local distributors?
terry, while i love them, is charging quite a bit for the pedals..
more than double what you can get it yourself..
even at the current exchange rate...

How much does the bassman clone go for? Even with cheap East Asian labour costs, a hand-wired clone seems unlikely to be super-cheap.

Yeah. $1,300 on that rather dodgy site.
          rather dodgy site?!
many people on tdpri swear by yoosmart ?

For an amp? I doubt that strongly. Maybe xmas came early this year!
Aaah yes sorry. That was for a bunch of pedals :-[

I'm turning 30 next month and decided i want to spoil myself. So i ordering a whole bunch of Joyo Pedals from WTFaccessories, including the American, Ac Tone, and British amp character pedals.

                    Can't wait!!!!! ?
cool stuff! let us know what you think ?
                        Will do!!

The pedal i'm most looking forward to playing with is the Ultimate Octave, and even more so after what Four4 posted about a possible mod. http://www.guitarforum.co.za/effects/joyo-ultimate-octave-fuzz-mod/

I'm hoping that if i use the Ultimate Octave and the British Character pedal together i could close to Jimi heaven!
Sound wise of coarse, i don't mean possible electrocution and death after i fiddle with the pedals insides ?
I have the voodoo octave and vintage overdrive on the way. Can't wait for em to arrive.

The Voodoo Octave is the same as the Ultimate Octave (I think Joyo had to change the name due to legal issues) and apparently they have fixed the capacitor problem so the octave now works great without having to perform the mod, but we'll see when it gets here.
I purchased two of the Joyo pedals over the internet last year. A British Crunch and Digital Delay. I normally use my amp channels to get the clean and overdriven sounds with a little reverb, but from time to time we do gigs where we have to use amps I'm not familiar with. Not knowing what one will get I though I must as well try them seeing that they are so cheap. I was really impressed! The crunch was a little boxy, for the lack of a better word, but I opened it up and found a pot, tweaked it, and that improved the response of the tone control enabling me to get close to the sound I was looking for.The delay is more of an analogue delay rather than a digital delay. But if you are just looking for a bit of ambience and a little more to your sound it does the job just fine. For the price one cant fault them.I'm not sure about reliability as as dont use them often at all. They get used only when I get to play a gig where I have to use an unfamiliar back line.

I honestly thought it would be a biiit cheaper than that. But there's a discrepancy, the champ clone is a steal at $150! Wonder what the build quality and component selection is like.
Jaimen and Luc where did you guys buy from? Yoosmart, WTFaccessories...?

I have the Ultimate Drive (OCD clone) and i am extremely impressed by it. Use it to get that slight breakup sound and a TS clone for solo's. What i'm hoping to get is the American, Ac Tone, and British amp character pedals. And then the Ultimate Octave, Crunch distortion, Digital Delay and the Phase pedals. But this purchase all depends on the exchange rate at the time of purchase. :-[

The wife has given the go ahead for the purchase. But not sure if she's sincere or if its a trap.
