How Much hiss is normal at full volume on a tube amp?

Hey I have a Peavey Classic 30, I just want to know how much hiss is normal on absolute full volume on the clean channel. Bear in mind I have no instrument plugged in.

Quite a bit is normal, why would you be cranking the amp that loud (on a classic 30 that is ear bleedlingly loud) with no guitar plugged in.. ? ???

yeah, it's perfectly normal.

You should hear my Super-Sonic 60 on 7 volume :?
Luckily I never turn it up that loud ?

I hope I'm not patronising you by posting this, but I thought it might be informative:

When measuring noise, an absolute measurement is rarely used. Instead, we talk about 'signal-to-noise ratio' (SNR), which is exactly what it says on the tin. In other words, even if your amp makes a huge amount of noise, it's of no consequence as long as your guitar signal comes through proportionately louder (say 60 dB at least).
