I will try to run this one every two weeks. A vote will also be put up without category limitations. The prize for winning is the same as the normal one... nothing. Except in this one, you don't even get to pick the next category.
So this whole thing is a writing challenge. It is up to you to push your creativity to a new level... also to learn about the other things. So being a two week challenge, it'll be broken down like this: 1 week to do research, 1/2 week to compose it. However you allocate your time to it is your choice.
Whomever is up for the challenge, pm me your track on the
15th of March.
- Time length maximum is 2 minutes, but a further allocation will be granted for 30 seconds IF your movement hasn't concluded by the two minute mark. You guys can be your own judges on that
- 1 second over the 2:30 mark will be disqualified.
- Please rip it at 128k in order to keep our internet usage to last till the voting of the main comp challenge.
.
Your challenge is:
Nocturne

Best dead guy to listen to for research: Frederic Chopin
The only compositional instrument allowed is a guitar... of which you may have two tracks (to simulate right and left hand on a piano or however you wish).
Good luck ?
