Looking good!

That is a lot of switches..... Give some more info on what they are for.
    Congrats

    That looksawesome..

That is the hipshot bridge right? Is it a floating bridge? From the pic it looks like it is elevated

Thanks, although my work was just calling now and then to get an update. I didn't work on it myself. ?

Yes its called the grand piano from hipshot.
No it's not floating. It's pretty much solid like a PRS Bridge, although if you wanted to get technical I'm sure it is very very different. ?
oh wow...............man that colour really pops with the hardware.

            awesome!!!!

Almost forgot to reply to this one. ?
Originally we wanted to use 3 3-way switches but it turned out to be either impossible
for what I want or so complicated that I could not fathom it.

Essentially a tribute the the Red Special of Brian May/Queen.
3 Burns Trisonic pickups(handmade by the company who bought the old burns machines from the 50's/60's, I forget their name now.)
1 Tone, 1 Volume. The tone control has a bypass on it. So if I roll it open it actually bypasses the tone and volume controls... so I can roll down
the volume and then switch to a lower volume immediately by simply rolling back the tone 1 mm.

              5 two-way switches.
1 on off for neck pickup.
2 on off for middle pickup.
3 on off for bridge pickup.
4 and 5 are phase switches for 2 of the pickups. Have 3 phase switches would be redundant since 3 pickups out of phase is the same as 3 in phase.

Thanks, but I didn't do the actual building part. ?

It's still with the Luthier. In a week or 3 I will make a video with nice video shots of it and sound samples and such.

Played it today for the first time. It is glorious. Unfortunately my schedule is way overbooked, but I look forward to playing with it some more asap!
It has a neck like a baseball bat, but I wanted that and it's awesome. Some people might have a little hissy fit about it though. ?
That finish makes me think Gibson Les Paul GT or a nice hot rod with some chrome mags.
                              Looks Killer! 8)
