Hey all.
Been looking for a forum like this for ages and really can't say why I've not come across it before.
Anyway, I'm based in Cape Town.
Self taught, been playing rhythum guitar since about '98/'99 I think.
Mainly been composing and writing my own stuff.
Got a Cort NC (forget the rest of the model) Semi accoustic that I dabble around with.
Got a friend that plays in two other bands, helping me out on lead, that's been motivating to play some smaller clubs.
So practicing my moer off and getting around to buying some gear for DIY demos at home too.
Starting next week with that project ?
Mainly influenced by alternative rock and the like; Radiohead, Weezer, Metallica and the list goes on.
Anyway, hope to be active, contribute and mainly learn all I can here ?
