Hi there,

I've got an old Ibanez hollowbody from 1968/9 and I can't really find much info about this guitar (except for the year) and wondered if any of you will be able to help?
Also, what would this guitar be worth?

My guitar:

A photo from a website saying this guitar is from 1968:
I'm afraid I can't help, but I gotta say how purdy it looks ? Right up my street... How does it play?
Not really a great collectors item or as good as the guitars they were making in the '80s onwards. Pretty unusual looking and rare though, so could be a keeper for you if you like having something unusual that no-one else has.

Plays great! I love it ?

        I'm planning on keeping it ? ?
          I have the same guitar:

They are not valuable but certainly rare. I have struggled to date them. For the supposed date of manufacture, they should have a metal nameplate instead of the painted logo as far as I know, so that doesn't add up....

It is a "stereo" guitar - the top three and bottom three strings are split to left and right outputs. The switch at the bottom changes it from stereo to mono output. The pickup switches allow you to do things like top three strings on neck pickup and bottom three strings on bridge pickup and so on.
