Is there any possibility to install a spell checker similar to MS Word that would underline spelling and grammar mistakes for posts? Or is there one I can install that will be compatible? I dunno if people have asked for one before? ?

The way I currently do it is copy my posts to Word, spell check there and paste back in...
    Or just use Firefox ?

What internet browser are you using? Google Chrome checks automatically on any website... Quite useful...

EDIT* And apparently Firefox too ?

+1. The net will generally look better too...
Using IE at the moment... Solution sounds simple enough, thanks guys! ?
Copy and paste in mailbox, and then just ignore the American spelling and spell it the way you would've anyway. ???
I keep a good old Oxford Dictionary handy too. 8)

Does Firefox fix it for you? Why I ask is becasue I can spell a bit but fingers dont always follow the mind when I type. type so well. And I'm a bit lazy so when I read what I've posted I usually only fix what cant be understood. I used to work at IBM where Firefox was the standard but I cant remember.
Firefox will check spelling, not grammar. Nannyware can put the kibosh on the spell check. To answer Ray's question, Firefox will do the wavy red underline thing on words that it doesn't recognise, you can either re-type those or you can right click on them and Firefox will present you with a list of suggestions.
...there is a British English version too, or you can download the British .dic file.
A SA dictionary too! ? or at least, that's what i have installed in Firefox!

Given Microsoft's SA English dictionary, which doesn't recognise South African words and generally only seems to allow either American OR UK spelling (not recognising that we officially use UK spelling), I'm very suspicious of these SA dictionaries and prefer to stick with UK. I mean, who really knows if we spell it "kif," or "kief," since there's no official SA dictionary any way?

But yeah. Firefox with UK English dictionary all the way. Although the damn thing still is ok with both organise and organize. And organize is not correct UK, or SA, spelling.
im using the one in Firefox Singe ?

                          Google Chrome checks as well.
