Alter-Irving Band at The Riverdeck

The Alter-Irving Band will be at the Riverdeck in Ruimsig on Sunday 4 December from about 2pm. They will be performing mostly stuff off their "Chained to the wind" album plus a selection off covers and new original material.
For those of you who don't know who they are - the band is:
Cindy Alter - Vox/Acoustic guitar
Stewart Irving - Vox/Acourtic guitar
Arno West - Guitars
Mike Pepper - Bass
Leon Shaw - Drums/Vox

we wont speak about the merits of their guitarist, a certain Arno West ? but I was quite taken aback with Stewart's vocals, he can really belt it out.

I enjoyed your sets at the "Pub Evening", very entertaining, good musicians. Will the Riverdeck handle "Thunderstruck"

I can catagorically state that there will be no Thunderstruck on Sunday, Stewie will take my head off with a blunt tea tray. Got away with it last time, won't push my luck...

For those really interested.....here's a little clip some guy made from a gig we did in Durban a while ago...
Interview was done by Mike de Jager, himself a monster guitar player who plays with Dennis Stratton (ex-Iron Maiden). It starts off a bit lame, but there's some nice footage of the band towards the end.
