who stocks prs' in jhb (sandton and surrounds)?

so i'm thinking of look at consolidating my collection and winding up with one acoustic and one electric. the sc58 has really grabbed my attention. i want to go try out some other prs' as well, and just thought i'd find out from y'all where's a good place to go do so.

as a heads up, if i do decide to go that way, there will be an emerald green (i think that's the colour) 2002 prs custom 22 and a 2010 tokai ls95s (goldtop, p90s) up for sale.

I know you can get from Marshall Music CT, and I'm sure you can get one organized through Marshall, JHB. I was gonna get a 513 a few months ago, and had to go through Marshall, CT. Since they did not have the exact one I wanted in stock, and I had to wait about 3 weeks to get from the USA, I rather got the Gibson LP Custom....... because I wanted one or the other........ like I want it NOW!!!!!

aubs, i just chatted to toms in sandton, and apparently the sc58 is made up to order. so no luck on that front! i'm like you - not accustomed to waiting. but if i had to have just one guitar (referencing another thread here) i think this would come pretty close to being the one i'd seriously consider choosing.

ha ha ha! yes, you're right. the problem is how to afford all these wonderful toys. i really have my heart set on this guitar, but it is well and truly out of my price range. they are made to order, so i'm wondering if i am ever up there, if i could order one with an ebony fretboard. that would seriously do me right.

guess i'm just going to have to work my butt off... or win a 30 or 50m lotto. then there'll be real prizes up for the monthly comps, courtesy of moi!

any idea how much you would part with the said items for? ?

:? lots! just a warning though - the custom has dots rather than birds, and it's a 22, not a 24, which is the model you're after. i don't think i'd be willing to let my prs go for a whole lot less than 20, because it's in pristine condition apart from some wear on the bridge and pup covers. but who knows? the tokai is practically brand new, so i'd want around 10 to 11 for it.

but this discussion is purely hypothetical. isn't it?
