So who has been building a pedal? Even if it's not one a month. The last one I finished is a little too high gain for my liking and doesn't quite work so well with my little tube amp.... Both the pedal and the amp is too bright... So I'm looking into building a DOD250 or the MXR Dist+ ... Relatively Identical, but the few component changes do give them there uniquenessess lol. Come on guys and gals this is a very easy one to build. ?

I built a (very) little fuzz face the other day:



I found some great little NPN germaniums that have almost perfect specs. Very low leakage and gains from about 70-115. have a 80 and 110 in positions Q1, 2 respectively at the moment. Sounds great, biases very well and does the FF clean up nicely.

Where did you get the GEs?
