Look. The reason for the name change (for me personally atleast) is that I want to be held accountable for my actions and words on this forum. I have a lot of respect for this place, and I don't wanna offend people. It has happended before where some people (not mentioning names) have been extremely rude to me personally on this forum, and I just felt, man, you are an e-thug hiding behind your profile. Well, I dont wanna be associated with cowardness. And please note I am not suggesting that ANY of you with nicks are cowards, this is just for me. I am still a little sad that my nick has changed as I was fond of FruitarGeek, It was a cool little identity I created for myself.

Also, another added advantage of using my real name, is if people like what they hear/see in me, it will be easier for them to find me and book me for sessions and shows instead of having to browse and ask around. In times of desperation, one needs all the promotion they can get.

This thing's a total storm in a teacup. Most of the people who "offend us" (which in many cases means, "disagrees with our point of view," but not always) can be unearthed in seconds by anyone computer literate enough to post on this forum. People who hide too much don't get the full benefit of this forum as a genuine community and are usually just drop in trolls - if they're trolling.

Name changing aside, have you had a look at the names of the new signings on the top right of the page lately ? 99% of them are completely and utterly unpronounceable. God forbid that THEY should become regular posters.

Let's all make our usernames real long and lets put big banners in our signatures too. Nice 800x600 images of our guitars and amps, all of them. Yes. Because that will make the place SO much easier on the eyes..
