All of a sardine (since Friday 5th) The Unread post and the unread replies links take me to 63 pages of topics. I know I don't spend every waking moment of my life on GFSA but that is a bit harsh. Is anyone else having this problem or is it only me - HELP!!!
Houston we have a problem...
"All Unread" is good in the hood for me.
Same thing happens with with me, I have no idea whether I have replies on the topics i'm watching.
Same thing with me, but I don't have 63 pages of the stuff... 3 at most.UncleGoatLips wrote: I have no idea whether I have replies on the topics i'm watching.
'Unread Posts' and 'Unread Replies' are confused... ever since Norio tried to resolve a problem Bob raised on Friday.
Same here
...and here too.
I just clicked on "Mark all messages as read" and then my few threads reappeared, then I refreshed the page and it's blank. Great success 8)
Yes. I don't usually use "Unread Replies", but when I do this morningPeteM wrote: 'Unread Posts' and 'Unread Replies' are confused... ever since Norio tried to resolve a problem Bob raised on Friday.
1) I get the same as when I click "Unread Posts"
2) it includes a post by Norman86 with no replies yet. That shouldn't be in anybody's "Unread Replies" list.
moi aussi with the confusion between unread replies and topics.
Me too. It's all Bob's fault.
"Unread replies" on the drop down now gives you this URLRenesongs wrote: All of a sardine (since Friday 5th) The Unread post and the unread replies links take me to 63 pages of topics. Previously it gave this

You can get a shorter list of unread replies by punching in http://www.guitarforum.co.za/unread

If Unread post linked to http://www.guitarforum.co.za/unreadX-rated Bob wrote:

Everything would work just fine its this "?start=0" bollocks that is causing the problems.
OK... I raised the question that seems to have prompted this change. With the unread posts feature as it was unread posts were getting dropped. EG I'd get up, visit GFSA whilst having breakfast and they'd be (for example's sake) a dozen unread posts. I'd read two then go have a shower (or walk the dog, or something, I don't want to have a situation where we ponder that maybe sacrificing personal hygiene is the way to have a better GFSA experience ?). Then I'd go to unread posts again and there's one when I'm expecting 10. Some other users reported this too. So Norio is trying to correct that situation.Renesongs wrote:If Unread post linked to http://www.guitarforum.co.za/unreadX-rated Bob wrote:
