Your opinion on this audio interface (and mic) please?

I'm looking around for audio interfaces at the moment and this is one of the options that I'm half considering. I was hoping someone could give me an opinion.

The package sells for R2500 and includes the PreSonus AudioBox USB but also a PreSonus M7 condenser mic and a set of headphones. I'm not particularly interested in the headphones but I would need a microphone at some stage.

So basically, my question is, how much is that mic worth? I can also get something like the M-Audio FastTrack Pro (http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/FastTrackPro.html) for R1700 but that obviously doesn't include a microphone. If I could get a comparable mic for the difference (R800) I guess it would make better sense to go for the M-Audio but I haven't really done much homework on microphones yet.

Any opinions on these audio interfaces and this microphone would be much appreciated.

Go for an M-Audio. The Presonus often have driver issues and they rarely resolve them quickly. The AudioBox can't handle line level inputs either - only mic and instrument.

I'm sure you don't want to hang around, but if you do, I'm letting my M-Audio Fast Track go at the end of the year. It's in classifieds!

They make some of the best 'testing' interfaces because of the massive frequency range, generally limited by the capacity of the mic used.
