I believe that's right.

If you start a thread, or if you have made the most recent post to a thread then the forum software deems that you have read it (which is not unreasonable). It requires somebody else to make a post after yours before you see the thread come up in your list of unread posts.

However you may be tripping and this post may just be a hallucination. Did you know your face is melting and your feet are on fire?

OK... so if your feet are NOT on fire, try looking in your account settings.

Sorry... I don't know which one and where it is, but in the past I've fooled with that stuff and found things getting weird on me and then fiddled some more until it came good again. I didn't keep notes
