Anyone following the cricket world cup? Big upset last night with the Irish over England! Ireland deserved the win and it is a good response to people calling for the minnows to be excluded from future world cups. S.A doing ok vs Netherlands at 178/2 after 34.0. Need a big push from here on... De Villiers showing his class! Amla a bit shaky early on but seems to be growing in confidence.

Nervous as heck now that its knockout stages. Looks like SA on top vs NZ so far though. NZ 17/2 after 7

Well you lot are lucky. I can't see a damn thing. I've been home since 4 and at least 6 wickets have fallen and I haven't seen it - maybe that makes me lucky, but it's set me thinking. Phone DSTV and they'll say it's the rain, it's the sunspots, venus is in conjunction with Aquarius or some such tosh and there's nothing we can do about it.

This is good business model. We take your money and we'll try to give you something in return, but we won't seriously inconvenience ourselves.

I want a piece of this action. This is a great ~~scam~~ business model.

After the last World Cup I promised myself I would not cry again when we lose and yet the still make me love them just to disappointed me and make me cry.

I'll be supporting Pakistan now, now that's a team that laugh at pressure. I assume putting up with bomb threats is a lot harder than cricket.

Well was having weather issues and just got picture back and the neighborhood went down becasue of lightning and stuff so I didnt see the end. But I hear it was a good game hey?

That was depressing... I always liked the New Zealanders though, but the way they acted after AB was run-out was shocking (reminds me of Martin Keown and his Arsenal teammates after RVN missed a penalty against them) - really bad sportsmanship, and if anything, I am glad that Faf came out of it with his pride intact. Still, feel like utter crap after another serious disapointment (and too many beers) :'(
