For it to be a fake it would have to say "Gibson" on the peg head. Call Tokai's whatever you like but they are not fakes.

Good, now we've cleared that let's go on to note that for the guitar to be "fantastic" it would have to be built to a reasonable specification. Not impossible, but it means that they will not be that cheap.

Wasn't there somebody offering to have Les Pauls, Strats etc "made to order" on the forum a while back?

Amazing! You can see it's a blank truss rod cover and the serial on the back looks fake too, however this looks like a nice axe! ?

This is one thing I truly hate about the Chinese way of business - they either pirate a product or make an inferior copy which is similar (don't get into the debate that they make good products...that may be true, I'm specifically referring to something close to our hearts - GUITARS).

I also know there was a guy on Gumtree importing "Gibson" Les Paul guitars and selling them for about 16K each, which obviously seems too good to be true. I think he bought from a company such as Tradetang.com - How those companies stay afloat, only in China I guess.
