My best advice is to heed your byline of -If it is worth doing, it is worth doing well. IMO cheap guitars make learning that much harder than a guitar with a good action and nice sound.
- Here is another beautiful classical guitar performance that I have recently posted on my site. Cavatina is well known both because of its musical quality and because it featured as the theme tune for the movie Deer Hunter. Enjoy.

- I am sure that there must be some classical guitarists on the forum, or at least those who enjoy classical guitar music. From time to time I post beautiful and inspiring pieces to my website and I am happy to share them on this forum.
Here Marcin Dylla plays Ständchen (Serenade) by Franz Schubert on a 1924 Hermann Hauser I classical guitar... enjoy.

- I don't know how many classical guitarists are members of this forum but I would love to see a section devoted to CG related topics.
- Since building my own classical guitar 9 months ago I have found out just how difficult, tedious, and frustrating it is to source strings, maintenance tools, nuts and saddles, polish, musical scores and so on. The local music store staff in Gauteng are not particularly enthusiastic and the majority of them lack in depth knowledge of the classical guitar. I would like to know from members of this forum whether they see the need for a website where they can access products, knowledge, equipment, and most other things related to the classical guitar. Please comment to give me some indication of interest before I proceed any further with the project. Many thanks.
