- No I thought I was the only one! ?
I have a Schecter 8string active and a Schecter diamond series into which I put a set of Bare Knuckes.
They both sound line the dogs danglers!!!
If you are in Durbanville we are not too far apart.
- In STRAP LOCKS+1 on the Schallers.
They are on all my guitars.
Nice thing is they are almost "fail safe" in that if the little ball and spring come loose, the plunger invariably stays in the stub on the guitar.
It is not unusual to have the little ball and spring come loose by the way so periodic checking saves an expensive experience - What Selby and I were trying to say is to go to gigs and find if the band plays music you feel comfortable with, and go see tham at an interval and ask if you can play a coupel fo songs with them in the back ground.
95% of the time you wont be dissapointed if the band isn't on an ego trip.
- +1 on what Selby said.
I probably wouldnt have started and gotten serious about music if I hadn't done the same. - In Hi EveryoneWOW!
Thanks everyone for your lovely comments.
Aubs - you seem a little on the young side to remember Elton John - at least first ime round!
That was when I still had hair - :?
We have been seeing some of your beautiful Cape over the past few days - monsoons and all!!.
Unfortunately I wont be coming to Johannesburg on this visit, as it is striclty relaxing, but next year I am coming again (assuming Selby will still have me) and we plan to see the other parts of your special country.
I will definately seek you out Aubs for a get together.
Until next time, I thank you again.
Caleb - In Hi EveryoneI'm here for only a couple of months, staying with Selby - we are old friends.
He suggested I take a look in here from time to time, and it sure is interesting what I've seen so far.
Keep up the good work.
Caleb
