Well, Tanglewood is British so not impossible I suppose!

    Nicely priced instruments.
I was just checking on the Tanglewood web site and the RRP in Britain is 499 quid.
It's not that strange, a lot of UK brands are cheaper here than in the US. Vintage and some of the other JHS brands for example sells significantly more in the U.S. than here.
Not sure. Are they manufactured in GB? Or in the East somewhere? Maybe if it is in the Ease somewhere it has additional tax imposed. Dont know.
This is going to be a post christmas present to myself!
they have some mighty cool instruments.. great prices too. think i might invest along the line..
yeah looks like a fab guitar .............i know tanglewood guitars they pretty good quality and are seen as lower to midpriced instruments offering great value for money . a student of mine bought one of their jazz box's and it was way cool and only about 2K after discount......

as for pricing ........... remember never accept the RRP as the street price and yes i'm talking new ........ most SA stores will give you discount for most deals and different stores have different margins on different gear depending if they paying a middle man ( importer) ....so shop around and try find out if any stores are also the importer then you get massive savings up to 30 even 40 % on the RRP ........so what i'm saying the online price you seeing on some US and UK websites are the RRP not the street price and is already market down by maybe 30 % cos hey you cant negotiate online can you .......

but yes i like the tanglewood guitars...

I am so jealous. When you get one we have to organise a jam.

It seems like these are fantastic instruments. Oh how I would love to get my hands on one.

Definitely Garth! Will be good to get some guys together! I know Don mentioned he wanted to try out my breedlove! We can have a little jam time! Will let you know.. I've been wanting a parlour for awhile and i'm not sure I want to get a high end parlour, because it'll be more my camp fire guitar! ?
i bought my tanglewood from mercury music too...
pity about one thing really, and thats that there is no stock on hand, it is a special order item, only shipped once you pay for it!
but, they perform well from what i have read!

personally, im glad i bought mine and not a yamaha or cort! the other guitars in the same price range feel inferior to the tanglewoods!
