Recording on a Mac

Hey Guys

So in a few short hours i will be purchasing the Macbook Pro 13". Main reason is for presentation purposes and light work.
I've just been reading a little about Garageband and it sounds amazing.

Can anyone suggest a good interface to record my guitar with Garageband.

the specs of the laptop are
Intel 2 Duo Core 2.4GHz
4Gig ram
250Gig HD.

Any suggestions ?

EDIT: I've been reading about the Grifins iMic.
Also i'm not looking for a top of the line interface, just something that will sound decent when i'm laying my ideas down..... ?

Got exactly that Macbook... word of warning, there is an issue with the USBs. Apparently the trackpad also uses USB power and it sometimes shortchanges USB powered gear you use. Best bet is to get a self powered interface or one that doesn't require power... (sorry didn't check link above)...

Or firewire? Do macs have firewire?
