Have anything in mind already? The Fender Princeton Reverb reissues should be here by the end of the year and by all accounts they are full of tone and very pedal friendly.
I tried out a fender deluxe twin (I think that was what it was called, not the twin reverb) a couple of months ago and that really impressed me. Although that was just a guitar to amp test. I'd have to test my effects on an amp before I make up my mind. At the moment my Ashdown works really well with all my od/dist pedals, but lacks a bit tone when playing clean. That what I really liked about my ex AC-30. The clean tone was really good, even with the wharfdale speakers.
I've heard good things about the princeton. Will have to check it out when it arrives. Otherwise I'll just have to fork out the cash and buy one of the amps I really want : Orange Rockerverb 50 or the 65 Amps Soho/Monterey. I've tried the rockerverb they had at Marshall music and I love it but I've only heard the soho & monterey used on demos for pedals, and they sound very pedal friendly as well having an awesome clean tone.
