hi ya all. last week thurs i attended an open audition at the luxurious 5 star Palace hotel at sun city,

the universe smiled on me and i was offered the gig to be the resident acoustic instrumental guitarist at this amazing hotel..........

i will be performing exclusively in the Palace hotels restuarants and bars for 6 shows a week for nov/dec and jan ..... so nice to have a residency and what a fabulous place to spend my summer.........

so if anyones coming to the Palace Hotel at sun city for a holiday look me up .......... ?

also looking forward to seeing what international celebrities are booked into the hotel for that period.... i'll keep a black marker pen in my gig bag just in case ...... ?

hehehh Ray . yeah Carnival city has been very good to me... in fact i'm leaving there at end of this month and it will be exactly 1 yr of me performing there consistantly once or twice a week......... so very blessed to have that security as a working muso.....

and re a golf day ........... let me see once i'm there if i can meet the guys running it ? and as my mother always taught me to never be shy always ask........ all they can say is NO ........... so be careful what you ask for hehehhe btw i think the big "million dollar tournament" (if it's still called that is happening while i'm there........)

and thanks vic and ice cream man for the well wish's......... this is definitely "good work if one can get it"

sick of it ? ? no not at all........... in my career i spent almost 15 yrs playing "hotel residency" gigs and i love it ....... ? and yes i know many muso's who don't like it ........but one meets the most amazing people at hotels....... and even tho the venue stays the same the guests continually change so never boring
