Hi peeps. Joe Satriani's 13th album release is out. Very strange name, but oh boy does this album have some SERIOUS tracks on it. Living in SA, I did the naughty thing and downloaded the entire album cause there is NO way I can wait till it gets here (but will of course buy it when it does). Only 4 tracks I really like with the limited time I've had to listen to them all. Track 1 is called Musterion, written in the Hungarian Minor scale. I absolutely love it. Track 3 is called I just wanna rock, and Satch uses a voicebox and a whole bunch of people shouting on it (much like Crowd Chant from Super Colossal). The 2 ballads as always deliver pure emotion. They are tracks 5 and 6 respectively (5) Revelation and (6) Come on Baby. beauuuuutiful. Check em out on YouTube so long and please comment what you think of them.

I've been wanting to hear this new album, I think I should make a plan to get it. Joe was the driving influence in the instrumental rock band I was in. Just too bad that if you play a genre like that, most people still can;t understand why you are not singing .My lead guitarist at the time was a Satch whore...JS Series', Peavey XXX..everything to be like him.
