What Gibson is that? ??? Year? etc etc
I sadly cant place that in recent memory...
The guitar is a Gibson Marauder. Gibson introduced them in 1974 as a more budget line of guitars as opposed to the Les Paul. Im not sure of the exact year of mine as the the serial number is rather elusive and I havent dated the pots yet. However the ones with the rosewood fingerboards were all between 74-77, so mine would sit somewhere there. For a much more info check out

Awesome Gibson. What is the condition like?
More importantly, what does it sound like?
The condition in the pictures above is very average, when I bought the guitar, someone had tried to refinish her and the job was not well done at all to say the least! The laquer had cracks everywhere and there is a clear line where they sanded around the logo so as to not remove the name. Since then the guitar has changed a couple of time due to the fact that its not really a collectors item. First a mate dared to to spray it lumo pink...so i figured why not, i do want to refinish properly at some stage anyway...so for a year she was lumo pink (which was insane when you were on stage and blue light was shone on the guitar as it then glowed!). I then decided i loved the blue sunburst on the Les Pauls and so refinished her like that....here are the pics:
Im still currently toying with the idea of skimming the top and then placing a maple cap on her. Or otherwise just going back to the original finish when I can get my hands on some clear nitro laquer.
Sound wise, a nice warm round tone would best describe her. Typical Gibson humbucker tone at the neck, however the bridge pup is rather high and terrible. Im very keen on popping in some P90's to see what they'd sound like!!
But I must admit, as my first electric it was a GREAT buy!!
