I have finally decided to join the forum, I do play but my real interest lies in the "old" technologies, the pre-transistor age, I collect, restore, rebuild and tweak all things with glowing bottles. Hope to be able to contribute and learn.

Hi Inflames, it was actually the thread about that old 40's PA amp that finally convinced me to join. I also own 2 RCA broadcasting monitor amps that use the same 6J7 metal jacket valves in the input stages.
