Hi guys just wanted to start this thread so that everyone can see each others pedalboard. So here is mine pretty simple just a Boss ME-50 & i am going 2 buy myself a digitech hot head & some other pedals. So guyz start posting pics of your pedalboard. I dont have a photo of my board yet so just got some photos of the pedals off the net.

Well...it does everything I want it to do. I got it with the possibility of expanding to a rack, which is something I would not be able to do had I gone for the other option, a Musicomlab mfx mkiii. It does take up a LOT of space, and is damn heavy, but it's functionality trumps it's physical attributes. I also like being able to give presets ridiculous names, it's a much needed source of humour. However, I am a bit disappointed by the lack of IA's - 8 isnt really enough. I have considered getting two fixed expression footswitches and using them to give me two more IA's. But, that's not a priority at the moment.

Alan, I do have a question for you: I find that a third unit connected in series via midi receives the wrong PC on occasion. Is there a degradation in midi fidelity when going through many unit's in series?

Yes, there is. Each input has an opto-isolator, which increases the chance of errors and introduces a delay. Not to mention that most MIDI cables aren't very good quality...

Take a look at a through box to split the MIDI up into parallel outputs. Something like the MIDI Solutions Quadra Thru.

As Nicholas said, it's a tiny volume pedal.
Still getting used to its treadle, but seems to be going well so far.

So...I've gone on a journey.... (As have all).

Started out with a DS1... and a BF4 (I think... purple boss flanger)

Later I had (and still have) a boss GT-8.

My second last setup was:

I was using the AB-2 to send signal to either my GT-8 -> DSL 401 Effects Return
--- or ---
To the Polytune -> Crybaby -> Nova delay -> DSL 401 input

Then... I found this old case that held a set of knives... checked the size with a Radial Trimode Tonebone:

The Tonebone was broken at that stage... but thanks to ebay I got two new switches for (R65) and swapped them out...boom...
I was going to build an insert so I could lift the pedals up so I could reach them etc... but genius struck...I turned it over... the lid was shallow
enough!!! So I put in a piece of acoustic carpet that I had lying around... hacked the hinges and soldered them back so the pins slide in and hold
the lid on, but you can open it and slide the lid off... lekker neat... hehe

So I still need a decent powersupply jobby... considering leaving the amp switch at the top (the one that says crate... bought of bid or buy for R80 ? )
Thinking of putting the crybaby back on and moving stuff around to allow that...

aesthetics... lol... a buddy was taping cables down while we were setting up for church and he stuck it on there...so I just kinda left it...lol

Hello all! Paul here. I've been building up my pedalboard for 16 years or so. I've wasted a lot of money trying all sorts of things and I actually FAR prefer going straight to the amp, but hey, there are some merits to having a big scary chunky wet tone at your toetips!

Nice and simple! Flip...I need a nice powersupply jobbie like that... but it costs more than I paid for any one of my pedals at this stage...EISH...

It's totally true dude. That puppy retails at R1700! But it's given me a perceivably more trustable tone consistency. Those NOVAs are THIRSTY and use up 6 of the sockets just to power 9V 400ma and 12V 400ma for the TCs alone.

Brilliant buy though. I recommend you part with the Kidney at some point. And the BBE is not so easy to find I'm afraid. Even just having no multi adapter and fewer messy leads all over is 'worth' the cash. :woohoo:
