I have been thinking about starting a wee pedal board for my "Acoustic Gigs", up until now I have been going straight through the PA.
I noticed Thomas Selmer Olsen had a mini board with 3 pedals (I cant remember what they were now, but I am sure one was a digital delay)
Obviously my Korg Pitch Black will be the first pedal, possibly a good digital delay ?, any other suggestions, I am not a purist at heart and dont mind trying some Adrian Legg kind of effects.
No DI box in there Squonk? Or is that a given?
I saw Elvis Blue this last week. He used the LR Baggs Venue DI. His tone was unbelievable. I use the LR bags para DI, also gives me great tone and versatility!
Elvis Blue's second guitarist (who was an absolutely incredible guitarist) went into a time factor. The delays he was getting were beautiful!
Nibs van da Spuy, who I absolutely love, has some great sounds too. He uses an old Yamaha AG STOMP. Such a cool pedal. I actually think I saw one of the forum for sale! Has several delays built in, I'm not sure what else.
All that to say.. If I did more acoustic gigging, my pedalboard would consist of: A DI box, a tuner pedal, a delay x2, a looper, chorus, reverb, and an overdrive pedal (like Jon Gomm).
