I have been itching to build a pedal board for a while now. I finally figured out how to build a true bypass pedal to control my multieffects unit, so I finally have enough pedals to justify building one! So here it is... not too many in-the-process pictures... This is for a bass rig, BTW.
Just after the pedal board had been made and first paint coatings. The paint job was inspired by the Italia Maranello Speedster. There are many Italias that make me want to curse the family line of the person that invented glitter, but that one is a super slick looking guit!
The bottom with the power supply. I changed out the plug so that I could use one of those computer chords with the two different power outputs, one for the amp and one for the pedalboard. It came with a standard three prong power plug.

The pedals.... I am planning to change the Behringer OD for a Tech 21 Sansamp VT Bass deluxe and the Boss CS-3 (which has been modded for better bass response) will be changed for an MXR M87 Bass Compressor. These changes will take some time, as I am not exactly rolling in cash, but they will come. The board was specifically built to accommodate them when I get them. The little rusted box is just a true bypass for the Zoom multi effects. The Zoom pedal does something to the clean sound... something that is not good, but has some cool distortion and modulation effects that can come in handy!
The grey patch cables worked out at +-R45 each I custom made them from plugs from Mantech and cable from Matt's Music. A lot less than the R50 per plug you'll pay at regular music shops, which works out to about R110 per patch cable!!!
So yeah, there it is!!!! I hope that inspires someone to not buy cheap behringer pedals ?
