This is quite a cool tuning because you end up with two pairs of strings tuned to the same note 6th & 5th, 4th and 3rd. This allows you to easily do things like the little double time bass piece he does when going into a new verse.
Can't find a decent tab so far, but one can work most of it out.
Where I got the biggest difference was in the upward run in the 2nd part of the verse
"He was tired of being poor...." etc.
Well... the biggest difference between my drop-d version and the version I worked out in Palmer tuning. It's still not the same as Stills'. The video clips that I have seen have him making a hand movement that I don't make, so he's doing something that I don't.
