Locked out - blacklisted

When trying to access GFSA via my I-burst account I get this message
"You don't have permission to access / on this server because you are currently blacklisted by a DNSBL server at: httpbl.abuse.ch"

I assume that this is some black list of hackers or other naughty folk that GFSA check against.

The trouble is that it seems to be keeping the whole of I-Burst out right now.

Well that's according to I-Burst, who also tell me that the whole .co.za domain has been blacklisted since Wednesday (which explains how I was able to get into GFSA as recently as yesterday morning).

I am posting this message via an anonymous proxy service. I haven't tried Vodacom 3G to see if that is blacklisted, but I notice that posts are appearing here so clearly it is NOT the entire .co.za domain that has this problem.

Bob, I am accessing via MTN 3G so that seems to be fine.

i am unable to access the site from work anymore only via my 3 G card.

Something funny happened this week preventing my access here. ( although i do not get the same error i believe tis the same issue)

Me as well. Havent tried my telkom adsl. Icecreamman, your work has blocked you because you arent producing and spending too much money on custom guitars. Bob your problem is you were nasty to me and they didnt like it.

Ya I was actually having a go at ICM but you've started something quite terrible with your guitar stories ne! Playing on my mind like permanent.

Bob, the next time you see that error, please post a screenshot of the full page. I'll see what workaround I can implement that blocks out the bots and keeps in the iBursters ?

I get it every once in a while from oprera mini. I'm guessing it's got to do with the ip address?

Since Monday I've been getting errors reported by proxy servers on some (non-iBurst) connections. Typically there is a long wait and then a message about zero-sized reply being received from the web server.

Okay, for the time being, I've disabled the blacklisting entirely. Hopefully the server will survive ?

Thanks Norio, though since I found a way in via iphider.org life has not been to unbearable. So if the blacklisting check has to be reinstated then so be it.

I-Burst say they're addressing the matter from their end.

I wonder if any of this has to do with the seacom cable which is currently undergoing repairs.
