Yeah. I'm no fan of the volute being a vintage fan. Since the Tokais are based on the "classic" models, you don't find the volute. There are some older Grecos available second hand that were based on the 70s models.
Tokai offers two "custom" models in two price categories. At the price of the basic MIJ Tokais - around 100,000 Yen - you get two piece body models (like the "standard" models at the same prices) with either a two piece maple top, or a two piece mahogany top. At the 200,000 Yen level, you get solid backs, with either a two-piece maple top, or a one-piece mahogany top.
Those with mahogany tops only come in wine red, but you could order a custom finish if you're prepared to wait. Here's the top of the range 1 piece mahogany topped LC200:

I don't think Lance has brought any top end LC200 or LC195Ss into SA yet. Nor, do I think, he's brought in the mahogany topped LC98 at this point. But he can get 'em, or any of the other models listed on his site ?
