I know this thread is starting to get really old now but I can't help agreeing with KP247.
There have been lots of pictures posted here of Les Paul guitars with flame tops and most all have been without showing the headstock. It is true that everyone can download pictures of flame top bodies off the Internet and then claim for these to be of something that it is not. So he raises a fair question.
Clearly you've been staying up to date with this thread. So you will know that there have been pictures from the Tokai catalog and from the local distributor that show guitars that are quite clearly Tokai Love Rocks from end pin to head stock.
You'll also have noticed that SM has, in fact, rung a bell about what does indeed look like to be an example of somebody showing a photo of what they don't have. He has nothing to gain or lose here, he has just acted out of concern for his fellow forum members. If anybody has noticed the possibility of taking a photo and passing it off as something you don't actually have then it's him.
Despite protests from rather one-eyed posters about this thread being a Gibson beat-up (there was one tear-drenched effort that suggested that Gibson owners would be scared to show their faces on GFSA, so savage had been the treatment meted out to them) it's the clearly pro-Gibson KP247 who has been the most provocative and least constructive participant in this thread. Some of his.... err.... inaccuracies have been repeated so many times now it's starting to look like deliberate misrepresentation (notably his carping about R30K Tokais - the situation has been spelled out to him repeatedly but he keeps on with this misleading line).
