OK I'll speak to Norio and look into creating a second theme for the site, based on blue instead of red. Then you should be able to choose either in your profile based on your colour preference.

The cool part was a column that popped up on the right showing the recent posts. That was cool. Can we please have that on all the pages?
It is on the all the blogs, reviews, articles and lessons pages.

It's real contemporary and flashy and stuff, there's just seems as though everything's too light though..
The home page does come off a little light. I want to make all the fonts in the middle ("Forum Rules - Forum rules. Please read here before posting." etc.) a point size heavier.
Also, the cells that the topics are in (referencing Excel here) seem to be too tall, taking up lots of room. Dunno if it's just me but that bugs me ?
I had the same first impression, but it's no larger than it was and due to the three rows of info to the right, we cannot make them smaller. I think the heavier font in the middle section will flesh it out and make it more "solid". If that still doesn't work, we may have to take out the "latest post" info on the right to get it to scale down.

Just taking a quick look I thought that there were a couple of things that could have gone in the articles or lessons sections that were posts by forum members.
In the works. Once Neps has logged in once, I can create articles with his byline. Tom has a couple of articles in PA too. There is lots of content coming, but I didn't want to add it all at once and want to get the look and usability sorted out before going nuts. I'll also be doing a little selective arm-twisting here and there to get some more articles and blogs from our more knowledgeable members. ?

Love the new layout of the site particularly the inclusion of 'Articles, Lessons, Reviews, Blogs'.
But, must agree, the red is difficult to read - specifically the body copy in the 'unread posts'.
Maybe it's just me, but it also looks as though the point size in the body copy in the posts is a lot smaller, which makes it difficult to read. I find myself zooming in which kinda kills the overall look of the page.
Agreed, a point size up there wouldn't hurt either.
