GFSA Merchandise Ideas

inflames · 2010-04-07T18:29:31+00:00

Hi all, My wife has excepted the challenge to clothe you all with some sweet GFSA merchandise. Some ideas: T-Shirts. Warm zip up tops (like Norio made in the past). Hoodie tops. Caps. windbreaker. Coffee Mugs. Guitar strap Beanie. Please discuss these ideas and add some more (and no, I'm not making a GFSA space case!). The plan: Set a list of items for sale. Decide on a design for each item. (The GFSA logo stays the same). Sell these to you at the best possible price. Payment strictly Internet banking. My wife and I are not going to be making money out of this. We do this for the love of GFSA. I understand your frustration, since this would be the 3rd attempt and I guarantee you this is it! Please use this thread to discuss all the info I gave above. Norio, could you maybe setup a merchandise[at]guitarforum.co.za account for me to use? I will send you more info regarding design submission tomorrow! Let's do this! Wifey will be joining GFSA later tonight, please play nice ?

How about buttons?

So should I make GFSA Space Case? ?

Ray wrote How about buttons? You know like we used to wear when the Pistols and those bands were still around? Those that have a pin.

Geez Ray, I must go and have a look for mine, I had a "Never mind the Bollocks...." one. Also 'The Clash' and the "The Stranglers"
I think I have a Windows 95 one as well ?

Conrad

Boxers! Black with a white font.

How about socks?

First of all they are cheap, but most importantly -

maybe we can get those feet covered that we always see lurking in photographs of gear!!!

And I always need socks...

I was going to say ankle warmers, but seeing as I play purple guitars, I'd rather recommend wrist towels. Black, 100-120mm long in 100% cotton, please. I recently started using some and it really keeps the sweat off my guits and the fingers dry. If not, I'm keen on at least a black t-shirt or two and/or a top/jacket/windbreaker.

@InFlames: Thanks for putting things into motion!

Pleasure Zark, now if you really wanted to thanks me, you could give me that J-Custom you don't play ?

ZarK

In another universe where I've already won the Lotto, nothing would have given me greater pleasure! In this universe, however, the best I could do is pop around sometime when time allows -if you'd like to take her for a spin? (Wonder what she'd sound like through a Marshall...) 8)

I haven't dare touch her sister (yet), cause then I know I wouldn't be able to part with her! :'(
