That is a decent price for the Ibby. I paid R2000 for my SA160, which is the lower end model, a bit more than a year back.

I have just such a FG750S and about to pull the trigger on either the FGX730SC or an APX700. I just dont know which and I must decide by tomorrow as they are the same price. If you're looking for a really nice low cost acoustic then I can recommend the FG range. I have read plenty about them and my experience been oh so grand.

I dont think the 160 is a lower end to the 260 ...just a lower series number.WantzChas wrote: That is a decent price for the Ibby. I paid R2000 for my SA160, which is the lower end model, a bit more than a year back.
When i got my 160 the 160 was 400 euros and the 260's were about 280 euro's so it depends on the materials used.
Did you buy yr 160 new at that price?
casg canverteres somewhere in kempton has a
Epi Les Paul for R2000 (sunburst)
Yamaha organ for R700

The SA260 has a push pull that allows coil tapping for more pick up variations than the SA160, which I think would make it a better guitar. The wood and the other things as far as I could tell is the same.IceCreamMan wrote: I dont think the 160 is a lower end to the 260 ...just a lower series number.
