Here are the contestants for "Friday Night in San Francisco" Voting closes Sunday night
Evo, category A, "friday night next to the tree" It could have done with a better mix but its late (for me) and its what I could come up with for now. It is done on electric, without an elegant gypsy setup... so theres only clean guitars... with my pickups on a way different setting than normal. I could not get near an acoustic sound but gimme an acoustic and I'll do this on there... otherwise hush :) http://www.box.net/shared/yvvr2gtdqd Hope it is acceptable. Stratisfear wrote Arjun, while you're up here you can come round and play my guitars. No problemo!

:woohoo:

Strat, you're a lifesaver, brother. :goodtimes:

Do you wanna PM me your number?

I'm put up in the oaklands/houghton area (Sorry i'm not too good with directions but i'm not far from the M1...got lost twice this morning trying to get from work near the athol-oaklands offramp to city deep market and back)

Arjun a GPS saved my life many a time in JHB. It is waaay too confusing.

Just get Stratisfear to unblock the trem on his jap strat so it can feel appreciated. ?

Yeah Arjun - thanks from me too for listening to the entries and giving a crit - and thanks for the compliment/being perceptive on my 'back of the beat' style of play 8) - it's deliberate and not many people 'get' what I do. I don't know where the style of play comes from, it's just something inside me I guess.
I too have created a folder of all the entries and it's great listening back to them all and hearing how the guys are progressing. I reckon it shows that these challenges stretch us and help us to explore areas/styles of music that we might not have considered - all good for musical progression.

Congrats Andrew 8)

But kudos to the other competitors as well.
This was a tough one, and all of you, IMO, made kick-ass entries.

Cheers
