Avatar not updating

I see my avatar picture has not loaded/updated again.....has something changed lately?

Let's see if mine still shows. If it does then your problem is probably a case of PEBCAK ?

Well I've tried different chairs and keyboards..... ? Maybe I need a new "and"..... ? ?

I found when I loaded my new avatar that the size of the .jpg file looks to be important. Resize the image to about the size of an avatar before you upload it. I tried it and it worked for me.

Which is just as well, given that the 3D Avatar has reportedly had a negative effect on many viewers, who simply cannot adjust back to the real world after being exposed to all the happy blue creatures and their plug-and-play trees/pets/appliances.

That one did cross my mind. I'll re-size again and see what happens.

Ok...I made the image a lot smaller and it worked.....All good now.....

205 x 273 pixels. Loaded instantly with no problems.
