So I have been offered to join a band and I have accepted. I will be the youngest there. And I am very nervous. :-\

Funy enough I have been playing my instrument longer than the drummer and bass player.

Intimidation is never good for a band environment. If there is this permanent contest on who the better musician is then things just become uncomfortable and unproductive after some time. I've only been able to sustain groups where there is mutual respect and as little as possible ego. Just my opinion though.

Well at the moment I think I need to keep the songs simple. Maybe some easy metallica songs. I am glad that this is there first band to. I have been told the guitarist is good and I am eager to learn from him. I guess the slayer and megadeth covers are going to have to wait. Will keep you guys updated and I hope to see you guys at a gig when We are ready.
