He really is a talented man. He plays for megadeth and really has a good stage presence. And is a very good man. I sent a private message on a metal forum and he answered. Is there any one else here find him very good.

Seventhson

What did he do to him may I ask ???

Mensa had an injury and was in hospital and Megadeth had a tour coming so Mensa could not practice. Dave doesn't hire a session musician, he just phones Mensa and fires him. I don't know that seems callous to me but I a love Dave's songwriting, lyrics and riffs.

the lyrics on the new album are utter crap though...

Conrad

BMU wrote "A little volatile" hAHAHAHA. A little volatile like napalm or Uranium 235. Hehe. He has wisened up over the decades though.

+1 for that analogy. Anyway. My personal taste just makes me more of a Broderick fan. I wonder if they will sell enough tickets in SA? What do you guys think?

Seventhson

Hell yes it is megadeth after all. People want to see a huge international metal band. I mean when will you ever see them again.

Conrad

I wish Broderick would release solo album!

You know he can sing.
I reckon he will in time. I am such a huge fan of chris.

Excellent thought. I'm so glad Loomis released his solo album, now I can enjoy his amazing playing undistracted by Warrel Dane's irritating wailing. A Broderick solo album... yup that's what the world needs.

The lyrics are crap... yeah I guess they are. I 100% don't give a flying ** about lyrics ever, but Dave's vocals are clear enough that I can't help picking some of them up.

thats the problem... and I made the mistake of actually reading the sleeve....

Conrad

It's not often I pick up the lyrics so I don't know. I love the lyrics from psychotron and symphony of destruction though. Are the new ones similar?

Seventhson

I love this song and chris does a fine job at it

Conrad

Wow... that was good yes. He is versatile. I don't know... for me he is hands down the best they've had.

Seventhson

With all there old stuff chris really plays it with no effort. I truly think chris is the best out of megadeth

Mustaine did carry on about how hooking up with Broderick is such a momentous occasion similar to Ozzy discovering Rhoads blah blah. That's mercurial Mustaine for you, we'll see how long Broderick can last (he hasn't been fired yet has he, I don't keep track of these things ? ). But Broderick is good, very very good no doubt about it. If anything he'll get bored and quit. Except that making some real money after all the decades of dedication must be really nice, he deserves it.

Unfortunately to play in MD he had to debase himself down to six string guitars, I can't even imagine the shame he must be feeling. ? But damn he got some nice Ibanez customs made...too lazy to find pics.

Rumour was too that Mustaine first went to Loomis, who said sorry but try giving Chris a call...not sure how substantiated that is. (Obviously it's well known that Loomis auditioned for Megadeth at 16 so that's either deliciously ironic or the source of the b*s rumour.)

Seventhson

Marsi
