hey all just a heads up i was in execu pawn which is in beyers naude rd , Cresta , jhb ( ask information for their number) and i saw what seems like a great deal a Roland 24E mixing desk for R3500 ........... it looked in good knick but anyway just a heads up......... if anyones looking for something like this........ should make an awesome liveband desk.... as it's compact but seems fully featured.......... and Roland is ussually top quality.... and at that price is what they sell 16 channel behringers for so seems a good deal on surface..............

don't msg me in regards to it... i was just in trawling for 2nd hand nylon guitars and saw it and figured it was worth mentioning........
Great high quality rack mixer! A bit old now, so might need a service and possibly a few faders, but at that price would still be a great fixer upper.

      If memory serves, the M24E is a table-top mixer. The M16E is a rack-mount.

yeah mojo you correct it's a tabletop mixer .............but still quitecompact for it's features...looks stunning in black........ i almost just bought it. but 24 channels for a solo act is somewhat of overkill hehehe

Hmmm.... one for the vocal mic. Two for the i-pod that plays incidental music between sets. A couple for the percussion. Then we need two for the backing tracks. Another 2 from the box that does the automagical vocal harmonies so that they can be in stereo and mixed seperately from the live vocals.

So yep.... 24 is too many. Even if you actually play some guitar.
heheh yeah Bob .... maybe with 24 channels for a solo act you can keep a dedicated channel specially set up for all your friends ...just in case they want to pop in to jam heheheh thats a considerate use for all those channels..... so Bob what you say if i buy it you can have channel 9 with your smooth talker 10 with the larivee and 11 with the morgan ....... yes could be quite usefull after all hehehehehehh... ok enough of bieng stupid ...can see it's holiday season

TWO tracks for the Larrivee please. I am having a dual-source system fitted to that with the option of running stereo. And we still have enough left over for the karaoke machine, a couple of synths and a drum machine all running on MIDI. Just what every solo act needs.
