I like hendrix, alot, but who doesn't, Dave Gilmour, well Pink floyd, never did it for me.... I have tried, but guitarwise I cant fault him on anything i dislike, Jeff beck, well again no real opinion, which means to me he is just fine.
Van Halen........ I have lttle respect for, other than his home made strat which sounded pretty nice, I find him to be far to, "yeh bitches look at me, I am F****** Van F*******ing Halen, who follows evry power chorus with a solo, and by the thrd one its like "yes dude we see you can play great, but you keep showing us whic hmakes you gay" I saw a live dvd of theirs and it was "like that"
Paul Kossof (dont know him) I will look him up
Andy timmons rings a bell, but nothing yet
STEVE VAI, and any of those G3 Crones, well we all know what I think of them, which i still stand by, I dont like ibanez guitars, I wouldnt use one, but I have never cussed any for it, personally to me its not my thing.
I am intersted to know what guitarists are your least favourite now?
You answered exactly like I thought you would...as strange as it may be, I admire your honesty. ?
For example...
Jeff Beck is "just fine". ?
Van Halen, "I have little respect for".
Paul Kossoff, you don't know him...how about Paul Rodgers?.....please, proceed to Youtube and listen to Paul's vibrato...and how about Andy Fraser's bass playing...incredible.
To be honest I can't think of a least favourite guitarist...almost every guitarist I listen to plays something that I can learn from...it might just be one lick/riff, or one magical piece of rhythm, there's always a little something that just sounds like magic.
