World Cup Draw...excitement setting in.

I'm starting to get excited, this is going to be BIG BIG time, so big I think we're going to be surprised at the enormity of the event. Charlize looked good as well, I dig her, she's cool, she's still so SAfrican, it's in her blood. Unfortunately I think Bafana are going to fall short, but not to worry, IMO the World Cup is much bigger than what Bafana do or don't do. It's huge for SAfrica irrespective of whether Bafana perform or not. I still have my England scarf from the 1986 world Cup, can you believe it? Through all the years it's somehow remained in my cupboard, I must have turfed 30 pairs of Levi's but the scarf still sits there in perfect condition. ? Remember the quarter Finals, remember Maradona, I'll never forget that day...payback time has come. I guess you know who I'm supporting come World Cup time...yep, David Beckham, Rooney and the lads are my pick to win the World Cup. England have a great draw, they should cruise to the Quarters. Thoughts?

Watched the 74 Final on ESPN Classic yesterday...Holland and Germany...I remember it well.

Man!!!...Holland should have won that game...Germany's keep Meier (sp) saved Germany, Holland could have scored 3 or 4.
Every time Johan Gruyf touched the ball the Germans nailed him, one of the dirtiest games I've ever seen, bad blood between those two sides.
One of the best Dutch sides ever, and Gruyf was pure genius.

Go Holland!...if England happen to get knocked out...but they wont. ?

I was going through the earlier posts in the thread it's quite a LOL in hindsight, France beating Bafana 3:0 !!! I support the teams from countries that make the best beer just so you know who I was rooting for this afternoon and you know who I will be rooting for tomorrow afternoon.
