USA strat with Seymour Duncan pups for R8500

If this is legitimate I think it's quite a good deal?

Now at R7900. I dunno, might be a Highway 1, then the price is about right.

Were the highway 1 guitars made in the USA?

I'll admit, my knowledge of fender products doesn't go much further than the American Standard models

Yebo, only differences with the std being hardware

And the finish, and the hard case (or lack thereof)

A friend of mine (in Durban) is moving overseas and needs to sell some of his gear. Wish I could get the Class 5 myself, but now's not the right time for me to be buying gear!

Godin ACS-SA Solidbody nylon string with 13-pin "Synth Access" output for R6500. Similar to my Carvin. They retail for $1300 in the US ($1K "street"). Great guitar, good price.

[EDIT: May be too good to be true. Photo lifted from this ad on Gumtree UK]

Another Godin, but something completely different - never knew they made such a thing (11 string fretless nylon?) aka A11 Glissentar. What a interesting thing!

I think that's another scam - I don't know of any locally and they retail for $1200.

The Glissentars are great - an extension of the Godin Multiac Nylon Fretless, specifically geared towards Oud players.

Those make GREAT first guitars. The price is okay, although there is one in the classifieds on this forum for cheaper than that I think?

Singemonkey's absolute favourite beginner guitar ?

What is it doing listed under TV's for sale no one knows...? The yamaha listed on GFSA is Kiera's and is definitely a good deal (also new strings & setup)...but it's in Pretoria.

R2100 with hardcase and new strings is ok-highish (imho), although I do like the finish. Haggle a bit with cash in hand - since it's listed for a while under the TV section I doubt there's been a lot of interest - perhaps the seller is negotiable. I saw one go recently for R1k, popped up on GFSA for R1700 then saw it at electric avenue for the same. Cpt is sooo small :?

beardedmoose

Those Yamahas are fantastic . Get it. id say 1800 is a decent price with the case. :goodtimes:
