Line 6 Amp and LP Epiphone for R2800?!
Scam or great deal for beginner?

AlanRatcliffe

Good deal I think. Scammers tend to concentrate on the big ticket items.

Could be a youngster selling - kids tend to think more along the lines of what they need to buy the next "thing", rather than how much their parents paid for it. ?

Nice try!But I'm afraid that if I had that much kicking around loose, I'd probably be tempted myself - them's ones don't show up often...

i saw a very similar beast lurking in andy mcgibbon's once upon a daydream. it was the late, great, johnny fourie's custom mccarty hollowbody, in the same green finish as my c22. even got to spend a few minutes tinkering with it while no-one was looking. had a somewhat deeper body than the standard hollows - legend has it, 'twas made to order for the man. price tag was 45 large. woulda paid it, too, if i'd had it. that was one mean geetah.

that was one mean geetah playa. rip.

And that's why I put (almost) in brackets... The McCarty 22 archtop is my absoute ideal guitar, but at R45k, I wouldn't even get enough if I sold my body too!

Looks to be a SG std not a special as he mentioned. Ambitious price though, they usually pop up for 9-10K locally.

I also always think Gibson guitars are fakes, those pics are so murky ?

More cool things...

looks like a early seventies precision
saw it this morning also
should be gone by now for that price

and the mustang: looks like refinish (sure it is a refinish), tone-volume knobs are changed, probably without the original case
8000 would be not such a good deal.....

Isn't this a really good deal? I have no cash, but if it's for real, surely a '66 Mustang is worth a lot more than that? A new one would cost more surely?

Big-G

For those looking to get into some more serious recording, this could be a great solution....

Decent price too, provided everything working well, and there's no major physical damage? The last one of these I saw for sale the seller was asking R5k!

Regards
G!

It would seem so. I just never saw a Mustang and felt I wanted one. Love the colour though ?
