That is a good price. A little too good. Caveat emptor. Probably legit. But surprisingly cheap. Worth being cautious.

Ah. Then unless there's something wrong with it, someone's about to snag a good deal. I'm feeling like it's important to never be in a position where you're desperate to sell a guitar if you can help it. If this person's dropped the price this far, I'd take less with me in cash and say, "take it or leave it." :?. R14K would be a sweet price for a cherry, dot, 335 ?

Here's a deal and a half.. R8k for a Gibson les paul custom? Something tells me that thing isn't legit.. If it is, whoever picks it up is getting one serious bargain!

I saw this as well, can't be legit. In any event, surely a person with a Gibson actually knows how to spell 'guitar.

I thank you... ?

Not just a custom, but a custom-shop custom... for 8K. Wouldn't go within miles off it. That's almost as blatant as a 419 scam.

Did you phone them to see what their line is Vic?

No phone number. I have emailed the ~~scammer~~ seller and asked for proof of authenticity. I'm not expecting a response.

No I haven't...however these guys would probably want a buyer to pay money into an agent's account (for safekeeping), and who will release the money ONLY after delivery has been made and the buyer is SATISFIED with the guiter LOL ?

Here we go again.....every other month this Gibby comes up, same song, same chorus, and same solo........and we all discuss it as if we've only seen it for the first time......this guy must be laughing his arse off....... one day he's gonna get a few suckers who will send him R8k each, and that's that!!!!

http://capetown.gumtree.co.za/c-Stuff-for-Sale-musical-instruments-Fender-Baja-Telecaster-W0QQAdIdZ241263560

Fender Baja Tele in Cape Town for just under R6000. Probably a tad expensive for a second hand when you can get them new for R9999 from Musicmadness, but might be worth it if your money is tight.
